BIOGRAPHY: The information I have concerning Joseph Langford and two of his sons comes from a posting by Martha Langford Green at Genealogy.com, dated June 21, 2002. It’s titled "From Joseph Lankford / Langford, and wife Mary of Virginia, 1750." Unless otherwise noted, this is the basic source.
BIOGRAPHY: Joseph Langford’s will was written in Lincoln County, KY, Sept. 1, 1783 and probated July 20, 1785. His children are mentioned in the will [it gives the names of two children and then a general reference to other children] and the conclusion I draw is that they were living in the same area as he was at the time of his death.
